The CommentHere we go again with yet another poor soul baffled by the mythology of British beer into believing that cask ale is supposed to be served at warm temperatures! Only a sorry excuse for a cellarman would serve his ale warm, Roger, since it is at its best when enjoyed at a cellar temperature of about 12-13 degrees C. (53-55 degrees F.). Or as The Good Beer Guide itself states: "...served at a cool 12-13 degrees C., rather than cold..."
