December 17, 2001 -- We all love beer. We all love beer stuff. And we all love shopping for beer stuff on-line. (Okay, so maybe I'm lying about that last bit, but you've got to admit that e-commerce can be mighty handy.)

So now Christmas is a week away and you're finding that getting a moment or two to run out and shop for the beer aficionado in your life is next to impossible. Time to get creative with your thinking.

There is one particular website that everybody here at World of Beer loves. It's called BeerBooks.com, and they feature everything from books about beer to antique beer photos, t-shirts and model beer trucks. They also carry the whole Beaumont library as well as books by Jackson, Protz, Hieronymous and Labinsky, and many others.

(Yes, World of Beer is an affiliate of BeerBooks.com, but unless you click to them directly from this site and buy something, I get squat for this referral. I'm just doing it because I like the people there and think it's a pretty terrific site.)

So now is where you get creative. Choose a dollar figure, design a simple gift coupon on your computer, buy a card to hold said coupon, and offer your gift recipient a buying spree at BeerBooks.com on you! That way they get what they want, you don't have to worry about shipping times and stress levels fall all around.

Then you can use the time you saved to go for a beer.
