Location: Penticton Trade and Convention Centre
For the beer aficionado, this 6th annual festival is the place to be. A nice selection of stouts will once again be on tap. Local restaurants and pubs are lining up for the chance to win the coveted "Best Food" award so visitors to the event are guaranteed to have an incredible selection of great foods to complement the great beverages.
Friday's tasting will likely sell out what with the live entertainment on the big stage and Saturday's event has grown each year. Advance tickets for the Friday and Saturday Consumer Tasting are strongly recommended and can be purchased through OK Res (1-800-663-1900) or at the door.
The Okanagan Fest-of-Ale event is a registered, non-profit society. Proceeds from the festival go to local charities and institutions - such as: Families First Society - The Drug Free Zone Program Penticton High School Hospitality & Tourism Scholarship.
