Walk The Line On Barley Wine Festival

Location: Dunedin Brewery 937 Douglas Avenue

The Walk The Line On Barley Wine Festival will not only be the South's first barley wine Festival, but for this first year only, also the WORLD'S LARGEST! Over 60 barley wines will be poured over the course of these two days, with all beers a minimum of two years old and several even older. Gourmet meats and cheeses are also included.

Time: Saturday 4pm-8pm; Sunday 1pm-5pm (Limited to 30 people per session, plus 10 more for a 'mini-session.'
Admission: $35 for a full session (30+ samples); $20 for a mini-session (14 samples); $5 for non-drinkers (food and soft drinks only).

Christmas Beer Festival

Location: Parochiecentrum Essen-Statie, Kerkstraat 62

Belgium's largest Christmas beer event. Over 70 different Belgian Christmas and winter beers, including several on draught, from almost as many different breweries. Food will also be available and bottles of the beers will be for sale.

Time: Saturday from 2pm, Sunday from 12pm

December 4-8, 2001 - Stratford, London, England

20th Pig's Ear Beer Festival

Location: The Olde Town Hall, Stratford, London E15

Over 100 superb beers from breweries across the country, including several brewed specially for this fest. Also being poured will be a range of real lagers, bottle-conditioned ales, foreign beers, ciders and perries. Once again, the Pig's Ear features free music.

Time: Tuesday 4-11pm; rest of week 11am-11pm
Admission: Tue-Thu after 4pm £2; Fri after 3pm £3; Sat £2 all day; all other times free. For CAMRA members: Wed & Thu after 4pm and Fri after 3pm £1; all other times free.
