Olfestival 2002 (Beerfestival)

Location: Valby Hallen, 3 Julius Andersens Vej (easily accessible by train or bus from downtown Copenhagen)

All Danish breweries will present as well as a variety of imports, for a total of about 350 different beers to taste. The fest is organized by the Danish Beer Enthusiasts, a consumer association with more than 3100 members.

Hours: Friday 12-11PM, Saturday 12-11PM, Sunday 12-6 PM
Admission: Single day - Dkk 75,00; Two-day ticket - DKK 150,00; three-day ticket - DK 200,00.
Prices for taste samples, paid by token: 1 pcs. DKK 12,00 - 5 pcs DKK 50,00 and 11 pcs. DKK 100,00.

Location: 1160 l Gauchetière West

Montréal is the host of the 9th edition of the Mondial de la Bière, now moved to a new location in the Windsor Courtyard and Station. This popular beer fest runs for five days and offers the opportunity to sample more than 250 varieties of beer and whisky from all over the world.

Hours: Noon to 11 p.m.
Admission: Free. Cost of samples is 1 to 5 coupons per taste, $1.00 per coupon
