Great Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival
Location: Egan Civic & Convention Center (555 West 5th Avenue)
The ninth annual event, billed as the largest of its kind in Alaska, benefiting the American Diabetes Association. The festival and competition attracts brewers and consumers from across the country and beyond for its eclectic variety of beers and barley wines. All of the Alaskan breweries will be represented.

National Winter Ales Festival
Location: Burton Town Hall
CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, have announced that the 2003 National Winter Ales Festival will be held in Burton for the first time ever! The festival will have approximately 65 different beers for people to try plus ciders, country wines and bottled beers. There will also be evening entertainment in the main hall. The National Winter Beer of Britain competition will be held on Thursday, judged in a closed session with the results will be announced to the media in the afternoon.

Miami Beach International World of Beer Festival
Location: Miami Beach, Florida. Ocean Drive between 7th and 8th Streets
The first-ever Miami Beach International World of Beer Festival expects to be a world class exhibition of beers from around the world. Multi-cultural and multi-faceted, the World of Beer Festival will celebrate the art and craft of beer in a relaxed setting on the white sands of Miami Beach. This beer village on the beach will feature hundreds of beers and savoury treats from South Florida's finest restaurants. Other festival features will include: great music ranging from blues and reggae to salsa and samba, beer appreciation seminars, gourmet dinners pairing beer with food, seminars on the craft of beer and its many different styles from the gurus of the industry, art exhibits featuring antique and collectible 'breweriana' and a beach barbecue. As well, for the first time in South Florida, there will be a selection of cask conditioned ales from the U.S. and Europe sponsored by Samuel Adams.
