8th Annual World Beer Festival

The World Beer Festival is held outside under more than 30,000 square feet of tent and features over 300 different beers from more than 100 different breweries -- both domestic and imported. The World Beer Festival also offers a variety of cuisine from local restaurants, a wide variety of merchandise vendors, four live music bands and entertainers for the kids.

Location: Historic Durham Athletic Park
Hours: 1st session: noon - 4pm; 2nd session 6pm - 10pm
Admission: $20 advance, $25 at the door, includes all beer samples and a souvenir sampling glass

Alloa October Real Ale Festival

One of the most successful cask-conditioned ale festivals in Scotland features more than 50 beers, hot food and live entertainment nightly.
