Do you have any statistical data about the growing number of women drinking beer? I contacted the Beer Institute yesterday and they're trying to find something for me - but they haven't sent me anything yet. Do you have anything handy - or know where I can get it?
Can you recommend a good, informative book on North American craft brews for me. Have you written one?
Thanks,
Lyn

I'm afraid that I know of no such data. Purely based upon my experience at beer fests, bars and restaurants across North America, I would say that the number of women interested in premium beer is most definitely on the rise, and has been for the past several years, but I can offer no hard data to back up this conjecture.

Please do let me know if you find something more concrete, as I would love to see it.

I'm writing on behalf of my mother in law. She posed a question which she thought I might be able to answer with some research on the internet. She does not have an internet connection herself. She wants to know if there is any sort of market for some Hudepohl beer cans she has which commemorate the Big Red Machine and the 1970's World Series. She has about 35 of these cans (sadly they are empty ones) She is about to move and found these cans. Are you aware of a market for these as memorabilia? Any websites you know of that might specialize in items like these? I don't think she expects any great amount of money for these. She'd just rather they go to someone who might appreciate the novelty, rather than just throw them out. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Try asking the Beer Can Collectors of America. Yes, there really is such an organization, and they even have a web site. It's at www.bcca.com.

Hey- I am searching for information on where to get a beer called Sam Magill or Sam Mcgill. It is from the Philippines or is imported there from somewhere in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Katrina Haugland

The beer you are looking for is called San Miguel and is indeed from the Philippines. It is also fairly widely available, so I would recommend checking with a well-stocked local beer store and seeing if they have it or can get it for you.

Hi,
I'm trying to find somebody in Dallas who is selling the Czech Budweiser (Budvar) for personal use. Do you happen to know any distributor?
Thanks in advance,
Petr Prerovsky

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but anyone who imported Budvar into the US in any fashion would be inviting the ire of the largest brewing company in the world, Anheuser-Busch. And there are very few of us indeed who could afford that kind of ire.
