Your Comments, Criticisms and Contributions - December 2000
Mr. Beaumont,
I am a vegetarian and have recently learned that some of the "fining" processes used to make beer is not safe for vegetarians. I am in search of an extensive list of these "animal free" beers. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

The only beer that uses animal parts as finings is cask-conditioned ale, the stuff that's fermented in the keg and dispensed by hand pump. Ordinary bottled and kegged beer is fine.

I would like to know the relationship between you and Molson and if you are producing any brands for them. I am thinking of investing in you company and I would like to know why
your stock has gone down so much. Please send me some information
You have emailed Stephen Beaumont's World of Beer, not the Brick Brewing Company. I suggest that you contact the brewery directly.
Smithwiks beer? Not sure of the spelling. But would like to get hold of some.
The beer is Smithwick's, and assuming that you are writing from somewhere in the US, I'm afraid that you are out of luck. Guinness does not bring the brand into the country.
