I have been trying to find out the outcome of the Federal Court case in October of 2003 re: the Hornell Brewing Company v the Crazy Horse estate. I have the files on the earlier court cases, but not the outcome of this one - do you have any information? I have contacted the Crazy Horse defence organization, but haven't received a response yet.
Thanks.
- Mary
I'm afraid that I've had no greater success in scoping out the results of that case. If you find anything, please do pass it along, though.
While in Prague this summer, I was able to enjoy a beer created in 2002 called Black Drak. It is a Czech beer and I was hoping to find it in Dallas and offer it as a gift to my wife. Do you know if this beer made it to the US?
- Michael Bolduc
Black Drak is the product of the Starobrno brewery, which to my knowledge does not yet export to the U.S. You can contact the brewery directly through the following info:
I stumbled across your site while trying to find out who the distributor for Tuborg beer is. I would like to be able to buy it in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but my local stores don't carry it. I've found it in Minneapolis, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, so I know it's being imported again, but how do I get it here? If you could help me, I'd be very grateful.
Thank you,
- Mary Poulter

Re: sale of Unibroue to Sleeman
I have poured for Unibroue at the Great Canadian Beer Festival in Victoria, BC, for the last two years. At the festival this year, Sleeman asked Unibroue NOT to pour as it would affect people coming to their 3 tents (Sleeman, Shaftsbury, Okanagan Springs). So when the company that reps Unibroue said that they would go ahead and pour, Sleeman pulled out a couple of days before the festival. It was almost like "Who cares? They're not a craft brewery anyway." I hope this isn't how Sleeman will continue to support them.

Disturbing imagery, Brian. Thank you for passing this info along, though. It does make one wonder.
