I'm trying to find a distributor or the brewery for Simonds Best Bitter. So far the search has been unsuccessful. I know they were in business in the 1990's, and yeah, I know a lot has changed since then!
Any chance you are aware of them, who owns them, contact info, anything? I've done every search imaginable with various search engines and come up empty. If you know any current information about them, I'd love it and be very grateful if you could share.

Linda's request stumped me, but I promised to put it out for World of Beer readers to ponder. If anyone can help Linda, email me and I'll pass it along.
I have some twenty three year old beer and was wondering if it could make me sick ?
Thanks.

It won't hurt you, but unless it's a strong beer specifically designed for aging, neither is it likely to taste very good.
Hi, I have recently returned from Prague and am OBSESSED with two of their leading brands, Gambrinus and Krusovice. Can you please provide me any info on where to obtain this in Michigan? So far all the phone calls I have been making are drawing blanks. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe that Gambrinus is imported into the United States at present, possibly because of the existence of a beer importer by the same name, but the brewery is owned by SABMiller, so that would be a good place to start. As for Krusovice, I believe it is sold in the States. That brewery is owned by the Radeberger Group, so I'd suggest dropping them a line:
