I know Amstel Bright does not ship to US - do you know how I can obtain Amstel Bright in the US - someone that you know of the sells it? Please, we need it for a surprise and a very important person we are working with.
At your service, Carlos Murillo

Amstel Bright is available only in the Netherlands and Dutch Antilles, I'm afraid. Your best bet is to try to find someone in either place to ship you some, but unfortunately I cannot help you out in that regard.

Hi Stephen, I'm a Canadian beer drinker who appreciates your language, I enjoy many beers for different reasons, just never thought to write it down. I'll have a look at your site again.
Cheers, Judy

Thank you, Judy. If you're interested in Canadian beer, and you seem to be, you might also want to follow my blog at thatsthespirit.com.

(And finally, an exchange with a beer drinker who has a curious problem with her sinuses.)

Beer Allergy... Need help to find something I can drink..?

Ok, so over the last couple years, I have noticed that when I drink Miller Lite (even just one or two), I have the WORST sinus headache the next day. I have been looking up information and recently trying to scour the internet for ingredient charts for all the most popular beer available. I do not know if I am allergic to the wheat, yeast, hops or what, but if I can find ingredients on these, I can rule them out one by one and maybe find something that works for me.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, what do they drink.. I am a beer girl and yes, I know I can stop drinking beer but if there is another option, I would love to hear it.

I did hear Bud came out with a wheat free brew.. I will try that but would really like some other advice. A ingredient chart or something... please help.... I love my beer!!!
Steff

I've never before heard of beer causing sinus headaches. Does it happen only with Miller Lite or with any beer? And is it always or just some of the time?

I am so picky about my beer that I have only always drank Miller Lite as a rule. I did switch to Coors Light and that had the same effect. I did ask this question on yahoo answers, and a couple people recommended Sam Adams Light because it is made with all natural ingredients, etc. I did try it and, voila!, no headache. It has something to do with the ingredients used in making beer that sets my sinuses off. I have no idea what it is but its hard to even narrow down considering that the major beer companies like Miller and Budweiser do not list ingredients on their websites or labels.

Thanks, this is such an odd issue. Obviously I can only have the 3 main ingredients and no additives... for whatever reason. I am going to try Leinie's Light this weekend just because I need more than one option. Any others that are natural and have no additives, I would appreciate knowing about.

Thanks, Steff

I've never before encountered such a thing, Steff, and this from someone who thought he had the world's worst sinuses. I'd suggest going all natural, ie: Sam Adams and other craft brewed beers. But I'll also see if I can find anything out about your condition.

So what of it, readers? Does anyone else suffer sinus headaches from drinking even one or two beers?
